The aim of the Al-Azhar Institute of Cape Town is to provide primary as well as secondary education. The uniqueness of the school lies therein that the school provides the normal secular education as in any of our government schools according to the curriculum of our Educational Authorities, as well as Islamic education according to the curriculum of the Al-Azhar schools in Egypt. The Al-Azhar Institute of Cape Town is therefore intended to prepare students for entry into secular universities as well as Islamic universities such as the Al-Azhar University.

As part of our commitment to developing our students holistically in all aspects of life, and not just academically, this blog has been created. It is an initiative for the students, by the students, and aims to serve as a platform for displaying the talent, creativity and achievements of the learners of the school.

I am Rania Lee’s mother Aminah. I am so glad that my daughter is at al-Azhar, she has being telling me postive things about al-Azhar. She says that the teachers at al-Azhar are very postive thinking and that they care for one another. I hope that there will always be postive thinking. Algamdullilaah.

    Assalamu Alaykoem.

I can only but say shukran jazakallahu ghairan to the principal and all the staff for the excellent work they are doing at Al-Azhar high school. They not only teach, but inspire and motivate the students to become the best they can be by instilling positive attitudes towards their work both Islamicly and securlarly as well as good isalmic morals, Alhamdullilaah. May ALLAH reward them abundantly and may they grow from strenght to strenght, Ameen.

Khadijah (RA) is my role model,
    Jannah is my goal,
Am a True Muslimah and am PROUD!

Alhamdhulillah ♥……..I am proud to be at al-Azhar because they have changed my life. I was never clear what I would do, but since I am there it is amazing. I always wear my hijab and I look masha Allah and I am proud to be at al-Azhar. When people ask me what school I attend, I am proud to say al-Azhar high school. And the more I learn the closer I become to Allah, and my parents are so proud of me and my family too. If I have to choose a school, al-Azhar would be my first choice.

I am making so much duah that Allah SWT grants that my daughter is accepted to attend al-azhar next year In Shaa Allah. Reading the blog and seeing the pictures has really confirmed my feeling that she would be so much happier in an Islamic institution which is where she really wants to be. May Allah SWT accept our duahs that she accepte In Shaa Allah

After reading all these beautiful messages I also make duah that my son get accepted for next year inshallah, he was at al azhar when he just started school and then they moved to lotus river, so now I am hoping that his acceptance will be taken into consideration inshallah ameen. AL azhar is one of the best islamic school that I know of because as small as my son was then he has learned so much at that time and at that age. SHUKRAN FOR ALL TEACHERS THAT TAKES THERE TIME AND PATIENCE TO GUIDE OUR KIDS IN THE ISLAMIC WAY’ JAZAAKALLAH GHEIR.
